How to rank Anime of 2006
Start with the ones you already feel strongly about. Death Note and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni usually land in a tier within a second, and once the obvious picks are placed the 20 items left in the middle are the ones worth thinking about. Move anything you are unsure of into one row, then split that row in two.
What the tiers mean here
S is for the ones you would recommend to anyone, A for the ones you would happily watch again, and the lower rows for the ones that were fine once. Nostalgia counts, and it is the reason your Anime of 2006 chart will not match a critic's list.
